Chromatic Visuals Rewrite Shader

Textures / Shaders

Chromatic Visuals Rewrite is a Minecraft Bedrock shader that heavily boosts colors, tweaks all light blocks, and adds custom fog. It even shifts the moon's color depending on your current biome for a better night vibe.

Playing with vanilla graphics gets old fast. The default textures often look totally washed out after a while. If you want some actual color without crashing your phone or PC, Chromatic Visuals does the trick. It overhauls the lighting and sky to make the whole map pop.

The guy behind this pack focused on making environments feel completely fresh. You aren't just getting a lazy screen filter. It changes specific stuff:

Custom colored light blocks that actually give off a bright glow.

Unique fog effects that shift naturally as you walk across the map.

Biome moons, meaning the night sky changes colors depending on where you stand.

It messes with the game's atmosphere in the best way possible. Just keep in mind that this specific rewrite doesn't have custom PBR or MER files included yet. The creator plans to add normal and height maps down the line. For now, you can just stack another PBR pack underneath Chromatic in your global resource settings. The game handles the rest and merges them.

Stephen Le helped the main dev get this project running. You just drop the file into your active load order, boot up the world, and instantly get a punchier aesthetic.

How to install?
